Renita Davis, LCSW
Renita Davis is a licensed clinical social worker who has been a direct care practitioner for over 20 years. As a social work educator, she uses her diversified background work with family preservation, hospice, women, trauma-informed care, and rural HIV care to reach students with multifarious interest in social work.
in 2015, because of her practical application in the field, Renita was actively recruited to higher education. There she proudly served the students and faculty of Troy University’s School of Social Work and Human Services as the Director of Graduate Studies and as Interim Chair of the School. Renita obtained her undergraduate degree in social work from auburn university and her masters in social work from the University of Alabama. she resides in Columbus, Georgia with her two teenage sons and their dog jazzy.
