Patricia Green-Rodgers holds masters degrees in social work, with a concentration in community organization and social planning, from Virginia Commonwealth University, and public relations, from the American University. Patricia integrates a unique approach in health campaigns designed, particularly, for underserved African Americans. She develops culturally competent communications strategies that resonate with target populations and trains trusted influencers on how to implement these messages with marginalized populations resulting in improved health outcomes.
Patricia is also co-owner of Stone of Scone Farm, a historic rural venue that she and her husband restored into a retreat center to promote mind, body, and spirit wellness. Patricia offers programs and services that use the healing powers of soul consciousness to survive life challenges.
Patricia’s view is that soul consciousness keeps us in the light, our purpose for being here. She says, “Our soul is not in our body. Our body is in our soul, our core consciousness. Consciousness is a field of possibility, creativity, imagination, love, compassion, and intentions. Who am I? I am a peaceful soul devoid of the trappings of body-conscious ALGAE: anger, lust, greed, attachment and ego, human emotions and actions that take us to darkness, not light, and excuses: “I can’t because” rather than “I can.” Patricia lives this truth and encourages others to do the same through her workshops and retreats.
