Born and raised in London, I was thirteen years old when I decided I wanted to be a Social Worker, so I mapped out my whole career from college to university and beyond. Fast forward twenty-two years, and I have tweaked my plan here and there, but still firmly on my path. And, I am loving it!
Now, where are my manners? My name is Nicole Louis, and I am a freelance Social Work inspirer. Having seen the struggles and frustrations of my fellow Social Worker colleagues experience being stressed out, overwhelmed and wanting to leave the profession altogether, I understand how much Social Workers want to continue doing what they love without sacrificing themselves and their families.
So, in 2019, I am on a mission to teach and nurture 100 Social Workers around the globe transition from sleepless nights, high caseloads and anxiety to feeling motivated, in control and experience tangible work-life as an Independent Social Worker! Are you ready to take your first step and keep walking?
