Dr Sanjai Bhatt
Prof Sanjai Bhatt has worked at the Delhi School of Social Work, University of Delhi, since 1993. He received a Master’s and Doctorate in Social Work and Law degree from Lucknow University.
Prof Bhatt is associated with a number of social movements and civil society organizations in various capacities, such as Chairperson, the Center for Community Economics and Development Consultant Society, Jaipur; South Asian Network for Sustainable Agriculture and Development, New Delhi; South Asia Partnership (SAP India); Association of Schools of Social Work in India (ASSWI), Public Advocacy Initiatives for Rights and Values in India (PAIRVI) working for human rights and social justice; and SOHAM – an NGO working with deprived children.
He is President of National Association of Professional Workers in India (NAPSWI), and also founder Vice President of India Network of Professional Social Work Associations (INPSWA), which is now affiliated the International Federation of Social Workers. Recently, he has been selected as Ambassador for Global Social Social Service Network. He is a member of various Government Committees and a board member of many NGOs, educational bodies and academic journals.
