Biography

Beth Counselman-Carpenter, PhD, LCSW is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Southern Connecticut State University in the residential Masters and online DSW program. Her research interests include the role and use of technology to decrease barriers to service provision in social work settings, particularly in the LGBTQIA+ community, and technology to enhance retention of course learning objectives and enhance experiential learning. Beth has a BA in Sociology from the University of Richmond, an MSW from NYU and a PhD from Adelphi University.
