Ms. Alexis Ruiz is an Associate Attorney with Kuck Baxter Immigration LLC. Ms. Ruiz graduated with her Juris Doctor from Tulane Law School. She also holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in French and Political Science, from the University of Georgia.
Following her graduation from UGA, Ms. Ruiz completed the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute’s Public Policy Fellowship; she served as a White House intern during the Obama Administration, and then worked as legislative staff on immigration issues for the United Auto Workers, in Washington, D.C. While in law school Ms. Ruiz received Tulane’s General Maurice Hirsch Award, awarded to the graduating law student who in the judgement of the faculty has contributed most distinctively and constructively to university or community needs.
Ms. Ruiz is a member in good standing of the Georgia state bar and active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
